A Little About Me
My Practice
In 2020, I left my full-time Lead Therapist job during my own mental health crisis (or as I call it now, my breakthrough). During that time, I began my journey with holistic healing, radical self-compassion, and the search for recovery of mind, body, and spirit. I firsthand know some of the burdens that therapists, social workers, and health care providers carry as well as the time and lessons one learns in the path of healing. This is why I take time to understand my clients' multifaceted lives and the interplays of community, environment, health, mind, and spirit. I hold a space where my clients' can experience the freedom to acquaint themselves with all the parts that make them the perfectly imperfect magical human they are. I hold deeply values of: radical compassion, non-judgement, confidentiality/trust, community, empowerment, and honoring thyself. All of which I practice in my personal life.
My clients are social workers, therapists, and health care providers. I help my clients overcome workplace trauma that trigger their childhood wounds. I also help them understand how their childhood wounds can be impacting their work/life balance. In 2017, I launched a free peer support group for social workers and mental health providers' with an emphasis on personal and professional wellness. Thereafter, I launched a free peer supervision space for practitioners to be able to discuss cases, ethical dilemmas, and professional self-care amongst other topics, in a non-judgmental, supportive space. As you can see, I personally and professionally believe in the power that community and support can have on our overall wellbeing.
What I'm Like
In sessions, I am that therapist that greets clients with a big smile. For me, it is an honor to be a part of your journey and I definitely don't hold back that feeling. My style is eclectic and encompasses a spectrum. There are times I may use silence to hold space for an emotional release, ask reflective questions, offer a somatic practice to help connect deeper to an emotion, share what is coming up for me as my client is sharing, share a quote or analogy, or use humor, lots of it!
What Can You Expect From My Sessions
Picture this: You are leaving work on time, you started your business, or you’re simply not overwhelmed by your work anymore. You are giving space to other experiences you have been wanting to focus on. You don’t feel bad about taking time off. You're prioritizing your healing. You're no longer losing yourself to work demands and trying to fit everything in. You're no longer going against your body by pushing it to do more, work more, be more, but instead listening, nurturing, and going with the natural flow of your body. You're implementing boundaries with work, family, and friends. You feel more self-led – feeling guided by what you would like to do and not what others want from you. You worry less and don't feel like a victim anymore. You are loved well for who you are, and don’t have to bend to be any other version of yourself.
I guide social workers, therapists, and health care professionals to experience freedom from childhood wounds and create a deeper relationship with themselves. By using EMDR, TIR, 12 steps spiritual principles, Parts work, meditation, and yoga, we can co-create this new reality. My integrative approach allows you to embrace your wholeness.
Typically, we work together for about 6 to 12 months, but many clients feel complete sooner or want to continue for maintenance sessions. We do transformational work together in a progressive and intentional way. Take the first step toward transformation by clicking the "Get in touch" button. Let's embark on this journey together - the life you deserve awaits you.

Our first session
The way we will work together is different from therapy you may have done before
because we will be using different medicines. I believe in collaboration and that this is a
commitment we make together, and though therapy can be hard and healing can be
painful, I get to support you every step of the way. Our first three sessions involve us getting to know each other, exploring deeper your reasons for services, and enhancing coping skills. We will take a deep dive to learn about life experiences that have influenced and impacted your beliefs. This lays the groundwork to prepare for EMDR therapy through resourcing, grounding, and coping skills building - while informing our treatment plan.
