A Little About Me

My Practice
Deciding it’s time to seek a therapist is a courageous act of self-love, and I am so honored you are considering taking this big step with me! You may be feeling stuck or overwhelmed with life’s transitions and losses. Or you may be ready to move past your past. Wherever you are on your journey, we will work together to help you deepen your self-understanding and heal. My specialty focuses include: depression, anxiety, existential issues, grief, and trauma. My training is comprehensive and includes psychodynamic therapy, multicultural psychology, Mindfulness and trauma-informed therapy. I am always growing and learning as a practitioner—through continued education but also through my own life experiences—and find joy in the ever-evolving nature of psychotherapy. And, as an Arab-American who grew up in Lebanon, I have special interest in helping clients navigate bicultural identities and intergenerational trauma. I received my BA in Psychology and Behavioral Science from McGill University, my MSW from Boston University, and completed 2 years of post-graduate fellowship at Harvard Vanguard. I then became a staff therapist at the Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School. I am licensed in Massachusetts, and soon, New York. I also spent a year as a “Traveling Therapist” and love consulting with other therapists who want to pursue a similar adventure.
What I'm Like
My approach is collaborative and warm. I meet you where you are while finding ways to challenge you and help you grow from that space. All your emotions are welcome here—whether it’s a fierce, righteous anger at the world’s injustices, a deep-seated loneliness, or even the guilty pleasure of feeling joy when life is overwhelmingly complicated. We’ll connect authentically, unravel the stories woven through your personal, familial, and cultural experiences, and discover how to navigate your world with a little more freedom and lightness.
